Hello! First of all, I would like to thank you for the great work you’re doing. I met your page a few days ago, and have already read all your translations of kuroko no basket drama cd’s with Midorima.(he’s my favourite, as you see XD) I also would like to ask you whether it is possible for you to make the translation of the last audio file from “Ginyu Mokushiroku: Meine Liebe – wieder Character CD 4 Ludwig”. The audio is called “05. Ludwig no tsubuyaki & anata heno message.mp3”, here’s the link where you can listen to it: http://www.general-files.com/go/147215988700. I know, it’s an old anime (2006 was 6 years ago) and it’s not so popular. But I’ve always wanted to understand what he’s saying for a long time and if you translate this, I’ll be very grateful to you. The audio is 5 minute long.

Looking forward to your answer, and sorry for my bad English, it’s not my native language and I haven’t spoken it for a very long time.

Thanks for your comment! I’m glad you’re enjoying the translations. Midorima is my favorite, as well, along with Takao and Kuroko. 😀

I’ll listen to the audio track and see what I can do about a translation for you. ^^

The translation is really great. Lui, not wanting to waste his time on the daydreaming and recollections – it’s so like him. XD And just as expected he talked mostly about Orpherus =D Thank you very much indeed for your work, you‘ve done me a great favour! Well, if one day you need a Russian-to-English translation, I’m at your service.)

First of all, thank you so much for all your hard work on these translations! You have no idea how happy you make me with especially those involving Midorima and Takao 🙂 May I ask if you happen to have Kuroko no Basuke replace novels? I would really love to read “Midorima’s unlucky day” chapter, just that one, because it seems nobody will translate it, and I would really love to read it, especially after reading the summary somewhere.

No problem! I’m glad you’re enjoying the translations. 😀

It’s funny you should ask about that. I do have the Replace novels (I’m currently finishing up the last one), and I’ve actually been thinking about working on that chapter. But because of the way my schedule works, I’d probably have to post it in segments, like I’ve been doing with the 1st drama CD, etc.

      • Leona says:

Oh wow really?!! It would be amazing! Even if it would be divided in segments, I’m just so curious about that chapter and it sounded hilarious from the summary 🙂 Poor Midorima..
You are probably sick of reading this once again but, thank you! ^__^

As far as your request is concerned: It depends. Is the text that you’d like translated available on the Internet? Is it an excerpt, or an entire novel? If you could send me a little more information, that would be great. 🙂

      • celeste says:

So happy here to see your reply 😀

It’s actually an entire novel. As for availability on the internet, i still don’t know but I could help look for it.

        Anyway, Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu!!

Would you mind telling me the title of the novel? I might be able to help with translations, but I can’t make any promises as far as a timeframe is concerned. Classes are about to start again, and translating an entire novel would require a significant amount of time.

I look forward to hearing from you again. 😀

You’re absolutely right. It does take a lot of time.

Anyway, I just found out that a scanlating group already started working on the 2 novels I was keen on reading. Would you mind if I request for Junjou Romantica or Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi Drama CD translation?

Thanks again for taking your time hearing my request.

    • grimmfeather says:

Thanks for your understanding. I’m glad to hear that another group picked up the project.

I think each of those series has multiple drama CDs. Is there a specific one that you’d like to see translated?

      Like

      • celeste says:

Then, I’d like you to translate the Junjou Romantica Drama CD in which there were 16 tracks. I think each track runs only a couple of minutes since the videos i found were mostly short. Oh, these videos are those of the manga+drama cd kind and i don’t like it that way.

Anyway, a bit of info can be found in this site but the links are all broken. I’ve already requested them to reupload the files. Hope they work on it soon. http://airavalky.blogspot.com/2011/06/drama-cd-junjou-romantica.html

Since I’d like all tracks to be translated, you can take your time. Junjou Romantica has special drama cds too but it’s up to you if you will translate. I’m really sorry too if my request is a bit too much. You don’t have to force yourself on this.

Thanks so much for letting me make this request.

Hi – The Kurobas Cup DVD is great, isn’t it? So fun!
I’ve seen a few subbed clips of the afureko sections, but not the talk bits.

If you’re keen and able to, I’d love to read translations of the bits where the seiyuus talk among themselves and to the audience. Like Seirin members introducing themselves, the “rival schools” members talking about Tanabata, the thank you speeches at the end and/or the backstage interviews.

Suwabe Junichi is my favourite seiyuu and Ono Daisuke plays my favourite KnB character. So I am biased towards bits that include them. But really, anything you do would be fine and much, much appreciated!!

Kinda sad how you totally ignored my comment. Someone else commented after me yet he got a reply from you first.

If you can’t do it then just say so, don’t let me get my hopes up after I finally thought I’d see the songs I love listening to translated. And here I am looking like an idiot for checking my email every 4 hours to see whether or not you replied or not.

With all due respect, saying I “ignored” your comment couldn’t be farther from the truth. I read each and every single comment that comes through my inbox. However, it’s currently exam time, and between school and work, I have a limited amount of time each day to reply to comments and, most importantly, work on translations. This blog is a hobby, not a job.

As stated in the title, this is a requests page. It’s much easier for me to decide whether to accept or deny a request if I’m already familiar with the fandom, which is why another comment received a reply before yours. It takes time to find and research the material for requested translations. I will add your request to my to-do list, but patience is very much appreciated. Thank you.

I’m sorry if I came off as rude and impatient, and I didn’t mean to offend you in any way. All I wanted was a reply from you, and I feel bad now for jumping to conclusions without evnen knowing the circumstances.

I apologize for my misunderstanding, and thank you for putting the album on your list even after everything that I said.

I don’t mind wait for a week, a month, or even a year. Just take your time, and good luck with your exams. All the best~ 🙂

Thanks for your understanding. I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused. 🙂

While we’re on the subject, I’ve had a chance to look at the album now; are there one or two songs you’d like me to prioritize? That would give me a place to start.

Hmm, alright you don’t have to translate all of them, there are a few which I don’t listen to. Here’s the ones I listen to starting with my most favourite :

White Love, I’m falling in love, Akujo, White Album, Tai Setsuna Kimie, After All, Yasashi Uso, Koi no Yona.

If you don’t mind, there’s another song that I would like to add to the list by the same singer, here’s the link for the download : https://www.mediafire.com/?hlm1rx292yv95h1

Like I said, take your time. No need to rush yourself, I’ll wait. And thanks again =3

Thank you very much for translating Replace chapters. I noticed the fifth volume was released recently but there’s hardly any translation of the fourth volume. May I request a translation of Replace IV’s first chapter?

No worries; thanks for your comment! 😀 I’m still waiting for my copy of Replace V to arrive, but I’m definitely planning to translate some of the chapters. I’ve already gotten a request for chapter 6, as well. ^^

I see XD, then in my case my request would be these chapters: “summer vacation for two” ( I want to know about Kuroko’s childhood) and “stopping on the way”( I found this interesting because Nijimura and Himuro meet each other) thanks for being friendly. 🙂

I found this video from Niconico. There were a slight differences (I think) from the original vocaloid song and it’s kinda hard to hear the words. I’m sorry for bothering you all the time–!! (_ _|||)
    Thank you very much–!!

grimmfeather-san!!! I have a doubt with some words in japanese, could you tell me what means these words: “Shigeru” “Kagerou” “Tetsu” and “Bikei” please (_ _|||)? Thanks in advance.

    • grimmfeather says:

No problem. 😀 Depending on the context and kanji, all four of those words can be used as names. If they’re not being used as names, however:

shigeru = to grow thickly or luxuriously
      kagerou = dragonfly; heat haze
tetsu = iron; rut or furrow
bikei = beautiful form or shape; beauty; beautiful scenery

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Hello grimmfeather-san,

There’s these two songs that I really love to sing from ore no imohuto wa kawaii wake ga nai second season. I really want to know the meanings of two songs and so I was really hoping that you will be able to translate them. The two songs are:
    1) Omou Koto by Saori Hayami
    2) The Last Ceremony by Kana Hanazawa

I look forward to your reply. I hope you’ll be able to translate them. Thank you in advance 😀

I believe there’s a translation of “The Last Ceremony” available here, but I’ll add “Omou Koto” to my list and work on it when I get a chance. 😀
